Charlie Crane
Charlie Crane favours noble and natural materials such as curved wood, which allows complex shapes to be sculpted and round objects to be offered. An ideal sweetness and comfort for children. This technique also has the advantage of being much more accurate than assembling wooden parts, which makes it possible to manufacture parts of excellent quality at affordable costs.
Charlie Crane Baby Rocker is a must have for babies from birth to 7 months. The aesthetics of this high quality baby rocker will complement your stylish home perfectly. It’s natural rocking follows softly the movements of your baby.
For the past few seasons, Charlie Crane has been collaborating with other textile companies to mix patterns, influences and to provide different options for different tastes. These collaborations include Little Cabari, My Moumout, Le Petit Lucas du Tertre and Milinane.
About Charlie Crane
Charlie Crane is a Paris-based designer of baby and children’s furniture. Founded in 2013 by Thomas Lépine, Charlie Crane’s ambition is to create beautiful and stylish furniture that infuses adult codes into the child’s world and blurs the boundaries of rooms in our current interiors. With Charlie Crane creations, parents are proud to display their children’s furniture throughout the house. The baby rocker can be blended into the living room decor, becoming essential part of it rather than standing out!
Charlie Crane products
Charlie Crane’s first products were the LEVO baby rocker and the NOGA changing table, which were created by two designers trained at the Boule school – Erick Demeyer and Steven Leprizé, who worked together as well in the ARCA Agency. Charlie Crane works first and foremost with the new generation of French designers, who carry the tradition of technical excellence (keeping in mind the work of the French pioneers of the 1950s such as Prouvé, Perriand, Hitier…), but are also open towards various foreign influences – 1950s and 1960s Scandinavian design and the more recent Vegetal Design in particular.
